Jan 4 – Association Meeting with Speakers CM Freddie King, III, Justin Brown of EmpowerYouNola, and State Representative Delisha Boyd

Please join us as we welcome Councilman Freddie King, III, Justin Brown of EmpowerYouNola.com, and State Representative Delisha Boyd as our January speakers.

Our speakers will allow us to hear what drives them as community leaders.  We can all learn how to become better community advocates.

Councilman Freddie King, III, will update us on all Algiers initiatives he is working on.

Justin Brown is an Algiers resident and is the President of EmpowerYouNola.com. This organization is at the forefront of reporting crime and helping citizens with self-defense and situational awareness classes. It is committed to informing the public of crime issues and bringing justice to families. We sponsored two classes and Justin has updates for us.

State Representative Delisha Boyd will provide us with an update on the upcoming legislative session(s).

We meet in the Choir Room at Connect Church, 1110 Kabel Drive, Algiers, from 6-8 pm.  Doors open at 6 pm.  Our program starts at 6:30.  Join us!
