The Algiers Development District will meet on July 19 at the Algiers Auditorium, 2485 Guadalcanal Str., Algiers

The Algiers Development District was created in 1992 as a community entity for Algiers. In 2003, the district became a special taxing district created by state legislation. The District has been designated as a local redevelopment authority for Federal City military base realignment purposes and has been authorized to incur debt.
